Once that the gambling expansion continue to grow up, there are more and more researchers who are decided to see what could possibly mena this impact of the casino expansion.
Several studies have discovered that around 34,000 jobs are known to appear in casinos if they are approved for Cincinnati, Toledo, Cleveland and Columbus. With this economic crises it could be greater according to the study, with around 11 billion dollars entering in the economy.
A lot of businesses are hardly trying to receive a big impact if the casinos could become a reality.
The observer Darryl Braggs sai that he doesn’t think there is no problem in adding casinos in Ohio. This can be very good to several industries. He also added that “these studies are showing just how big of an impact would be made, and lawmakers would be foolish not to want that kind of help.”
Preciselly, the economic impact are based on 4 cities where most of casinos are being proposed would be 656 million dollars for Cleveland, around 300 million dollars for Toledo, 505 million dollars for Columbus, and around 390 million dollars for Cincinnati. That was what the UC study has revealed.
So, if there could be created 34,000 jobs, them 16,000 of them would be permanent while the others could come from the casinos’ construction in these 4 cities. The construction of those casinos are known to begin only in 2010 and only if the casinos are approved.
