National Gambling Critic John W. Kindt Said That Gambling Extends Far Beyond The Bank

The last book in the United States International Gambling Report Series, a book that looks at the US gambling habits, shows that the surge in legalized gambling that the country has registered over the past two decades is posing an increased risk to the nation’s security.

National gambling critic John W. Kindt, who is also a professor of business and public policy at the University of Illinois and a contributing author and editor of the book series says that the influence of gambling extends far beyond the bank accounts of those who actually lose money in casinos, to the overall state of the national economy.

The three books are the first academic collection to look on how gambling affects the United States on a large scale.
