There is a serious struggle in blackjack and card games in Seminole casinos. The ’07 compact has agreed with the Gov. Charlie Crist, one that gave them the rights to table based card games in the State, was over turned by Florida Courts. So, Charlie Crist was supposed to not have legislative approval when he put the compact into play. Here want the Seminoles to go back to, despite of legislators who have refused their submission.
But the Seminoles are known to have the only tables with blackjack and similar card games in the State. Now, the legislators are trying to look down the barrel of the gun by having a new idea. The National Indian Gaming Commission was the straw grabbed by the parties while the Commission is believed to end up when it will arbitrate this deal.
The State will take now their own proceeds, even if analysts are debating whether or not the enormous chunk of cash the Seminoles will decide to give the state the rights to make the deal.
The problem has been discussed for months, and the compromise is not reached yet.
