The Account Services Corporation company has filed a Motion for Return of Property while it has named the United States Of America’s Attorney for the Southern District of California, Karen Hewittand of the NY, Lev Daesin.
Account Services Corporation’s representatives have decided to ask the courts ordering the funds’ return and and extending the detail and informations about the popularity of poker. It has also affirmed that the seizures are unreasonable.
It was said that the Account Services Corporation submits that the Court has equitable jurisdiction over the Motion. It also requests the releasing of the property to set forth in the attached Memorandum of Points and Authorities.
It was also said that beyond this dispute about ASC, that it has an interest in the seized accounts: ASC had its own accounts, which practically represent a part of money held by ASC for around 14,000 poker players.
As concluded, ASC will suffer a serious injury if the property will not be returned. Now, ASC is known to be exposed to several demands and threats of civil suit.
